Thoughts of a not-so-passive aggressive.

More Sherlock

Woke up this morning with a new thought in my brain. Something very out-of-character about Sherlock indeed: he rings John. He actually rings him and speaks on the phone. Sherlock doesn’t phone, he texts. Mycroft is the one who rings people.

Not that it means a lot but having woken up with the idea, I spent some of my 10-hour journey to France re-thinking about the rooftop scene. Sherlock rings Watson (which is very unusual) and then suddenly everything seems to mean something in that conversation. The mention of the magic trick and more importantly, the mention of the note. A Scandal in Belgravia echoes. Sherlock’s theory about what kind of notes people leave when they are about to die.

I don’t think this new “realisation” is bringing anything new to the theory of what happens to Sherlock but it just seems like he was trying to give clues to Watson - either about the fact that he wasn’t actually dead or about what has actually happened to him.

Sherlock drops his phone before jumping. Again, echoing A Scandal in Belgravia. John! That’s where the clue is. Get the bloody phone!

P.S.: I am going to try to get a life now and not think about Sherlock for a while. … I did say ‘try’ though.
